DAN SUN Titanium Explorer Pouch

Designed in collaboration with Tamara, known as the “Cenote Girl,” the Dan Sun Titanium Explorer Pouch was developed specifically for the demanding requirements of cave exploration and scientific diving.

The project began in January 2025 in Mexico, when Tamara identified the need for a specialized sidemount pouch capable of carrying essential cave-diving equipment while also accommodating a range of scientific diving tools and instruments. After a year of prototyping and refinement, the Explorer Pouch was developed as a lightweight, durable and highly functional storage solution for divers working in challenging environments.

Built for Cave Exploration

The Explorer Pouch combines CORDURA® 500D fabric, Dyneema® mesh and a YKK VISLON® molded plastic zipper to create a robust pouch designed for repeated use in demanding underwater environments.

Its compact 30 × 20 × 9 cm format provides useful storage capacity without creating unnecessary bulk around the diver. The use of rust-resistant materials also makes it particularly suitable for freshwater cave systems, cenotes and long-term expedition use where equipment may be repeatedly exposed to water.

Designed for Scientific Diving

Beyond conventional sidemount storage, the Explorer Pouch was developed to accommodate scientific diving tools, instruments and project-specific equipment.

The internal space can be used to organize smaller tools and equipment that need to remain accessible during exploration, research and documentation dives.
